Daru & Rena are a brother and sister duo. Produced by beatmaker/drummer, Daru Jones, who continues to push his distinctive sound and style “Soul-Hop”, as well as breaking the boundaries of sample-based production by utilizing everything from traditional gospel hymns to Jazz, & other genres for his beats. He links up with longtime collaborator singer/songwriter, Rena, as they continue to blur the lines by fusing hip-hop, electronic & soul with a testament to their love of music and faith also the outcome being a refreshingly unique sound.
